These physical limitations make it difficult to form words or sentences, which can make daily life a challenge for children and parents alike.Īssistive communication devices empower a child with CP to meaningfully contribute to conversations and form friendships and relationships. This is due to symptoms of CP such as muscle spasms in the throat, mouth and tongue.
